Hauraton’s new web-based application provides construction industry professionals with quick, simple hydraulic analysis, channel sizing, project design, and product specification for the company’s range of surface drainage systems (for landscape, commercial and civil projects) whilst working on their own desk-top computers, laptops, and tablets.
The user-friendly and free drainage design software provides engineers with the flexibility to create their own drainage designs and project specifications, with just three clicks to a hydraulic calculation.

Rainfall for Drainage Calculations
The hydraulic design tool incorporates a UK Rainfall Map, which uses data from the ‘Flood Studies Report’ with rainfall intensity options in mm/h, l/s*Ha and l/s*m2. Users have the options for return period, storm duration and climate change giving accurate linear drainage designs.
Channel Designs
Hydraulic Calculation Software has the flexibility for construction professionals to create linear drainage designs using any digital device. It has accurate, precise hydraulic analysis and channel sizing with the design methodology independently tested and validated.

Channel Drainage Systems

Automatic generation of project documents for specification support including hydraulic analysis, materials list and information datasheets available.

Hydraulic Calculation Software – Information
Our free hydraulic simulation software has been tested extensively and validated by an independent hydraulics consultancy company. Our in-house hydraulic design software has been used successfully by Hauraton technical personnel for over 30 years with total reliability.
Registered users (password protected) have access to safe and secure server storage with regard to their final designs. These will remain strictly confidential unless users tick ‘share with Hauraton’. Registered users have the option to export design files for external storage onto their computers or for sharing with colleagues for further design or discussion. Hydraulic calculation software has been configured to comply fully with GDPR data privacy regulations.
