Gabriel’s Retirement

Gabriel retirement

“It’s not a fantastic feeling to be leaving but it is fantastic to have so many friends.”

Gabriel Curtis, one of Galco’s most experienced advisors, retired after 44.5 years of service.

We would not have enough words in this post to convey how important Gabriel was to our company.

Probably the best recommendations are the words of the customers he met almost every day.

“Had a visit from Gabriel Curtis of Galco today and was very impressed by the competence and courtesy of this gentleman – says Peter Whitty. – A fine ambassador for Galco as a company with high standards.”

One may wonder how it’s possible to stay with one company for so long.

What’s Gabriel’s recipe?

– One of my colleagues asked me: “Did you ever think of leaving?” and I said “No”.I’ve really enjoyed working here. What made it, were the people. Everybody was so good and supportive. I would like to say a big thank you to all, who helped me along the way. It’s not a fantastic feeling to be leaving but it is fantastic to have so many friends.

There were many expressions of friendship during the more and less official farewells.

–We thank Gabriel for his time and dedication in developing our company – says Ed Byrne, Group Managing Director. It’s incredible how you managed to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and professionalism after so many years of work. Other employees could learn a lot from him. I think it is also a great testament to the company, that people work and stay with us for so many years.

Gabriel!

You’ve worked hard for so many years.

You deserve to relax and take it easy for a change!
